Beginning in September of 2010, Aadhaar enrollment quickly developed to 36,000 active enrollment stations in 32 states and union territories, all by December 31, 2011. The enrollment reached originally approved target of 200 million by February 2012.

How to Get UID Card Aadhaar
You can go to any authorized Aadhaar enrollment center anywhere in India with your current form of identity and proof of address. The Unique Identity Authority of India (UIDAI) process accepts 18 PoI (Proof of Identity) and 33 PoA (Proof of Address) documents.
